Installation:

Step 1: Ordered 1" kayak cleats (H2o Kayaks 25 mm Webbing HDPE Black Footmans Loop (Pack 4) for 25mm Webbing) from Amazon.
Step 2: remove the strap from the tailgate section. Then break off the plastic buckle, so you're left with just the strap.
Step 3: attach velcro to 1 side of the strap. 3/4" velcro works great. And be sure both parts of velcro are on the same side.
Step 4: remove the attachment from the tailgate end and screw it to the top side of the cab end. Be sure to center it, using the screw holes from the piece you previously removed.
Step 5: screw the newly purchased cleat, using the same holes.
